Investment Manager – Wood Processing

Koustubh Gadgil joined the Investment New Zealand team in September 2001, and has worked on a number of projects in various sectors.

Since 2002 he has been part of the wood processing team. This team developed and implemented the European value-added strategy for the New Zealand wood processing sector. He has also been responsible for managing other significant investment projects involving New Zealand and overseas companies.

Background and expertise

Koustubh has experience in investment banking, initially with Lazard Creditcapital Limited, a subsidiary of Lazard & Co Ltd., U.K. He later worked for boutique Indian investment banks where he was involved in corporate advisory work, capital structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and equity and debt raising.
